Homebrew Charodont Species Details
"Charodont?
Don't let anyone tell you they aren't real, Boy. When I was your age I saw one, clear as day, a mere before it ripped my bosom's mate clean in two. I'm not ashamed to say when it looked at me and it's eye's turned white, I ran.
I can still hear the sound of it eating."
Charodont prowl the ocean depths, seeking their own fortunes. They claim they are born alone, and as a solitary, barley connected society, the connections of family and friends is largely unknown to them. Though some Charodont are quite emotive and personable in spite of it, their self-aggrandizing nature make their associates wonder how genuine their shark-like companions truly are.
Aquatic Marauders
The Charodont are a simple race. Each one, regardless of appearance is first and foremost out for their own benefit. Their relationships are based on either strength or guile, and while Charodont do indeed have feelings, they will not let them interfere with the task at hand, whatever that may be. As there are many types of shark, there are types of Charodont, and they each pride themselves on their superior methods, regardless of how accurate the assessment is. The primary goal of a Charodont is to amass wealth and power, and to be an unbeatable, unmovable force within the world. Charismatic Charodont eventually grow gangs and followers who benefit from the relationship. It is their realtive scarcity that prevents them from becoming a true threat to the oceans.
Charodont Names

Being boastful of nature, most Charodont are fond of honorifics, which they will attach to their names at what sometime appears to be random. This play an unspoken rule of their society, this is an unknown.
