Homebrew Starize Species Details

Starize
"Why don't you come and join me?" Karsta says, trying to seduce the guards. This slender red-skinned humanoid leads them upstairs. She looks back with her piercing eyes, a black eye with a glowing magic circle spinning around. She leads them to this dark and quiet room where the small fire between her horns emanates the room with a dim light. When Karsta thinks they are alone, she grabs a small dagger with her long and thin tail. With a slight smile, she gives one last chuckle before taking down the guards in one swing. She takes the silver key from the guards. She continues her mission inside the city.

-Karsta Redskin

Starize is a loner race, and try to live on their planet as much as possible. Never showing themself in public only when they have to aid allies or when their special forces are heading out. They live in an extremely hot environment and are known for their beauty and strong forces. Having strict rules they don't mind if other races break these rules. Not only their beauty is known but also that they can charm anyone or persuade anyone they want. That's why some also fear them. Another recognizable feature is that these creatures are more sensitive to their senses and emotions.

Colorful and Beautiful
Having two horns on their head, they often have colorful hair color and having redskin ranging from dark red to very light red. Between their horns, there is a small fire that responds to their emotions. That is different for each Starize. Their eyes are black, filled with starlight and a glowing magic circle in them. Just like the flame between their horns, their tail changes depending on two things their emotions, and whether they can cast spells or not. When a Starize dies, the flame on their head goes out. They are shorter than humans on average, ranging on average between 5ft and 5.5ft. Their weight ranging from 100 pounds to 200 pounds.

reckless and ageless
These humanoids can live up to 200 years old. They reach adulthood very fast till 15 years old, even though they can live up to 200 years old. There are stories about a starize that lived as long as an elf. These stories are rare and never really confirmed. Because they are mature at an early stage, most young starize tend to seek adventure for their curiosity. When they reach adulthood, they are allowed to have a superior rank in these special forces. It's a great honor to be in these forces. Therefore some parents start to train their children at a very young age. When a starize reach an older age, they tend to join the more mundane jobs, having seen enough adventure it's now time for a quiet life. It's not easy to spot what age range they are in since they don't change much in appearance when they grow older. There is one way to see if a starize is old or young. The bigger and brighter their flame is, the younger they are. And the smaller and dimmer their flame is, the older they are.

Summer living
Starize live in extremely hot temperatures, where 200 C (382 F) is a "normal" day for them. These weather conditions are one of the reasons why they tend to stay on their home planet. Starize can survive in a "normal" climate. However, this is the same feeling like a cold winter. Their home plane is called Stess. It looks like a normal plane but with more deserts in it. Starize are often friendly but quiet people. When a starize does travel, they wear a disguise for keeping a low profile.

Culture and more
Starize live in a close and strict society where breaking rules can have dire consequences. Having the approval of your parents is very important to a Starize. That's why most of them apply to be in the army or special forces. You have read a lot about these special forces but you don't know what these are exactly. The special forces are the best of the best. They are a  group of Starize that would go on suicide missions and come back unscathed that could win a war. In this training, a lot of young Starize die.
They can start their training at the young age of 6 years old. only a fourth survive and only one or two are accepted. The rest would go to an army. Another precarious thing is that Starizes don't need food or water. But they live on care and "love". If a Starize don't recieve any care or love in a month they go crazy and will die wby either old age or because they are so crazy they can die because of this. The love and care can't be self-inflicted. This is also the reason why Starize settles for one partner and tends to stay with their partner. There are more males than females as in 35/65 This is a reason why you can't have a same-gender partner as one of the laws. There are however some that won't agree with these laws.

Starize names
