Homebrew Weapon Mimic Species Details
A copycat, a nescience, a keen eye upon what seemed to be a humble box. These are apt descriptions for these little bastards that hide in plain sight. This particular kind hides behind the guise of weaponry.
Weapon Mimic Traits
Being a lying little shit who is often hated has its perksPerfect Counterpart
Should the mimic mimic the appearance of a weapon, it acts as though it has this weapon equipped. The Mimic must gaze upon the weapon and go through a short rest to change it's appearance to the weapon
Perk Bonuses
Add a +2 to Dexterity and +1 to Constitution
Natural Weapons
You got teeth, use them! The player can attack an enemy with a rending bite dealing reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage as well as tendrils that do 1d10+Level dmg at a range of 10ft
