Homebrew Atlantean Species Details
The atlanteans are similar to humans in appearance. The skin of an atlantean tends to be slippery, and glint slightly in sunlight. These oily secretions help them swim more effectively, and protect them from temperature changes between land and water. Atlantean hair tends to be black or white, and their eyes are almost always blue and green hues, light blue being the rarest coloration. They are typically very muscular individuals, and typically do not have beard, but those who choose to may still do so, even though it is not common among them.

Atlanteans are adept on land but at home in water. Can breathe underwater and have a swimming speed of 50ft unless wearing heavy armor, have and equipped shield or wielding any 2 handed weapon that is not a spear or trident, any of the mention reduces the swim speed to 30.

In open air, you can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. Underwater, you treat all dim light as bright light, and all darkness as if it were dim light within 60 feet.

Your ancestors are well-adapted to the harsh, cold environments of ocean depths. You have resistance to cold damage.

Atlanteans have adopted and train in the use of spears and tridents from an early age, for hunting, defense and war.
Ability score increase
Atlanteans are at one with the sea and have adopted to its depths and it's fury. Increasing there constitution.
