Homebrew Voyan Species Details
Betrayed, left broken and abandoned a benevolent Archfey picked up the pieces and gave them a new purpose.
Fey Guardians
Voyans were origininate from kindred souls of humans that were led into the Feywild by a fiend and lost their lives. However, an Archfey named Emori gave them a second chance having them watch over where the Feywild bleeds most into the material plane. Voyans often have large horns that take any of a variety of shapes, typically resembling those of some woodland creature, such as a deer or elk and even sometimes have multiple tails, though they are more vine-like in apperance. Their eyes are solid bright colors—red, white, silver, gold, yellow, or even more exotic colors—often with no pupils. Their skin tones cover from a pale ghostly white to a mossy green tinge. Their hair grows very quickly flowing down from behind their horns, it is usually multiple bright colors, from a whispy white and light pink to vibrant reds and yellows, to light greens and purples.
Socially Exclusive
An rare sight, Voyans are secluded enough that communities of their sort are virtually unknown. They typically subsist in some wilderness in areas where the Feywild bleeds into the material plane, watching over it.
Tricked once before, voyans know that they have to rely on themselves to survive. They are not quick to trust anyone, but when a voyans companions demonstrate that they trust him or her they try to show the same kindness. And once a voyan gives someone loyalty, they are a friend or ally for life. Once betrayed, the voyan will forever count that person as an enemy.
