the devourer is a offshoot species of human that grew larger and more sturdy than it generic counterpart it has a mutagenic ability to assimilate traits abilities and skills from creatures it eats this does require a good strong constitution for it to take hold due to the larger build and additional muscle mass this race excels at physical fighting and has a much more robust immune system due to it eating monsters and other unnatural foods they are primarily found in barbarian tribes but have been confirmed as being found amount then general populous but are often shunned due to there unnatural body and mutations thus this race is very stubborn and almost feral the dislike large crowds and prefer smaller rural townships

the devourer has the ability to assimilate skills ,abilities and trails of creatures it eat when he/she consumes a part of a creature that it wants to assimilate it makesw a survival saveing throw that is determined by the level of the devourer compared to the cr of the creature the greater the difference inleve the easier/ harder the check should be.:base survival chek is dc 10 if the devourer is on par with yje cheature it runs a base if the creature is 2/4 levels higher the dc rises to 15 if it is 5/7more levels higher then the dc rases to 18 8 or more is a dc 20 survival check.
