Homebrew Uruk-Hia Species Details

      Though their origins are unknown, some say a ancient dark lord created them by infusing orcs with magic to strengthen them. Others claim they are the result of only the strongest orcs breeding together. Still, others say they are of orc and goblin blood. What is known is that, when they come into contact with orcs, the orcs will serve the uruk-hai, until strong enough to defeat them. Historically, uruks are known to be faster, stronger and possibly smarter than ordinary orcs. They are a force to reckon with.

Uruk-Hia Traits

Uruk-hia are a faster, and more powerful type of orc. They are a hybrid of Orc, Goblin, and Human.

Ability Score Increase

Both your Strength and Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.

Age

Uruk-Hai reach adulthood at age 14 and live up to 75 years.

Alignment

Uruk-Hai tend to be of evil disposition or Chaotic Evil due to their association with evil, they can also be Neutral Evil, but it is rare to be of good alignment.

Size

Uruk-Hai range from 6 to over 7 feet tall and have a bulkier build. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Aggressive

As a bonus action, you can move up to your speed toward an enemy of your choice that you can see or hear. You must end this move closer to the enemy than you started.

Menacing

You are trained in the Intimidation skill.

Powerful Build

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Blood Rage

For three rounds you become resistant to all damage, your speed increases by 5 feet, and when you attack you add +3 to the damage results. You may preform this two times before you need to take a short or long rest.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Goblin, Orc, and Giant.
