Homebrew Color out of space Species Details

It is a rare event, the death of a star. The blast of a supernova erases everything in it's path more quickly than anything could ever escape. It is absolute destruction, but everything that once made up that star is carried out beyond it. The building blocks of all life. Supernovae are essential to the creation of all that is known, even future stars. Always in their wake, something is left behind; heavy metals, gas, light, color, all expanding like a painting across the universe. Nothing can survive it, and yet it is how life starts.

You- you were something caught in that exact moment of annihilation and conception, something that happened too quickly for you to even have comprehended it. A form erased by the boundless energy, but lingering long enough in an echo that the fragmented light of the star could fill in those lines. Instead of something fully new slowly developing, the supernova recreated one of the smallest and yet most significant things it had destroyed; a life. Your life.

Your appearance is similar to whatever it may have been before, but there are irregularities and instabilities in your body. You are more vibrant, more surreal, and difficult to behold at times. You contain lingering energy of the most powerful event the universe knows, and it has an effect on those around you. You were not meant to be and yet you are; an unfinished death of a person and a star.
