Ink Spray: When the octopus takes the Dash action, it can squirt black ink up to 10 feet. In water, this creates a 5ft cloud of swirling, opaque ink that obscures vision for one round. Ink Spray recharges after a Short or Long rest.

Wriggly: As an octopus, you are not easily held or contained, and you have Advantage on Dexterity checks to escape the Grappled condition.

Regeneration: If you suffer damage to or lose a tentacle, you will be able to regrow the lost or damaged limb after 1d4+1 days.

Your ability to change color and pattern to blend in with surroundings, as well as your talent for squishing and modifying your bodily shape makes you immensely tough to spot. You have Advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

Your vision and tactile senses are honed in ways many other creatures could scarcely imagine. You are proficient in Perception and Investigation.

You taste things with your tentacles. Great for sampling or assessing qualities in food or materials! 

*Footnote: Octopodes can digest alcohol, the main enzyme that is responsible for alcohol metabolism is called alcohol dehydrogenase. A quick NCBI search across the phylogenetic tree of animals shows that octopuses have been shown to have this enzyme, and therefore can process liquor. In other words, you can drink alcohol as an octopus, but please drink responsibly and remember to hydrate. Because you need to breathe.
