Homebrew Axoloteca Species Details

Lore:Born from the mixing of blood between the teteo of Quetzalcoatl and Xolotl and that blood being washed on the body of a salamander this amphibious race have a complicated relationship with their parent deities.

Physical Description:Axoloteca are bipedal creatures that have cylindrical bodies, short legs, a relatively long tail and feathery external gills. They have four toes on the front feet, five toes on the back feet and moveable eyelids.

Axoloteca mature very fast, as a result they mature at the age of 5 years and live up to 40 to 50 years.

Axoloteca can grow up to 3 to 4 feet in height and weigh up to 60 pounds. Your size is small.

 Your base walking speed is 25 feet. You also have a swimming speed of 30 feet.

 

Amphibious

You can breathe air and water.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, and  Aquan.

Darkvision

 You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Natural Regeneration

Once per short rest, you can roll 1d12 and regain hit points equal to the number rolled.
