Homebrew Badgerfolk Species Details

Badgerfolk are a proud folk, though they tend to be a very rude and aggressive people. They fight just about anybody or anything they deem as a threat, including each other.

Badgerfolk Traits

Aggressors - Badgerfolk will almost always be the one to initiate a fight

Darkvision

Due to being avid night stalkers Badgerfolk have heightened sight in the dark.

You have 60 ft of darkvision while in dim light of complete darkness.

Keen Smell

As a hunter Badgerfolk can sniff out food from miles away if needed.

You have advantage on perception checks that rely on smell.

Aggressor

Badgerfolk will try and start fights with anything and everything making them especially well versed in intimidation.

You have proficiency in the intimidation skill.

Ability Score Increase

Due to their bodies Badgerfolk are very hardy and dexterous people, shrugging off heavy hits and darting around their enemies to disable them.

You get a +2 to your Constitution Score and a +1 to your Dexterity Score.

Tough Skin

Due to the thickness of Badgerfolk's skin they can take most venom and poison in stride.

You have resistance to poison damage as well as advantage on saves against being poisoned.

Rough and Tumble

Badgerfolk won't go down easily, barely surviving near death attacks on a frequent basis and coming back with ultimate ferocity.

Once a day when you would've gone to 0 hp you instead retain 1 hp and can make a melee attack as a retributive strike to the foe that dealt the damage, you can dash as part of the action if required to reach the enemy in question. If you had to move to reach this enemy you cannot move on your next turn.

Long Claws

Badgerfolk have developed long claws to help with the tearing and slashing of flesh.

You have claws that you can use as a natural weapon, dealing 1d4 Slashing damage + your Strength mod.

Most Badgerfolk speak common and Badgerfolk.
