Homebrew Amian Species Details

Aimians are not human. They have deep blue, crystalline eyes and blue fingernails. Their skin is blue with changable black tattoos, some use this to take notes. They cast shadows the wrong way, and it is believed that this is a sign of a spiritual connection to the world of spren, Shadesmar.

Aimia was recently scoured of most of its people, likely in warring over the valuable creatures known as lanceryn. When the last lanceryn was killed, it was assumed that there were no surviving beasts with gemhearts on Roshar until the chasmfiends of the Shattered Plains were discovered.

Amian Traits

Your Amian character has a few traits.

Ability score increase

You gain +2 Charisma and +1 Wisdom

Mesmerizing patterns

You create a mesmerizing pattern on your skin, distracting enemies in a fight. You gain advantage against the target as long as it is in the same turn.

Takes one bonus action.

Target must make a charisma saving throw of 12 plus your Charisma modifier.

Spiritual connection

You have a connection to the spiritual world of spren, Shadesmar. If focusing you can feel and listen to the spren in all things.

You have advantage when soulcasting and trying to convince the spren to change.

Surgebinders have disadvantage on you when using surges.
