Homebrew Bladequil Species Details

A Bladequil is an Aarokocra that has learned to use their Feathers and natural Agility to the fullest, making them a Force to be recognized in combat, as well as out of combat due to their sharp wit and sharper mouth.they are also smaller than most Aarokocras.

Unlike Most Aarokocras, the Bladequils have a string like muscle that goes from their shoulder to their hip, which can be used to shoot their Feathers like arrows from a bow. They can also use their Wings like Swords, seeing as their arms are replaced with 2 Wings, with claws on the end of each Wing. A well known Bladequil is Razor the Swift, able to rival even the mightiest of dragons in his prime.

You gain 2 attacks, both having the Finesse weapon trait.

Slash, an attack where a Bladequil uses their blade like, feathered wings to attack an enemy, dealing 1d4 slashing damage. At level 7, your training in this attack gives it an additional 1d4 slashing damage. This attack can be made as an action.

Bladequil's Arrow, an attack where a Bladequil takes one of their Feathers and shoots it using a string-like muscle at an enemy. This attack deals 1d8 piercing damage, and has a range of 30-90 ft. At level 7, this attack has been honed to be faster and more accurate, taking it's range to 60-120 ft.

Bladequil's Agility

As a Bladequil, your movement speed on foot is less than on par with your movement speed midair. You have a walking speed of 15 ft and a flying speed of 55 ft.
