Ah, the Atlanteans. Imagine if the gods spent a few centuries far beneath the sea, where their arrogance and pretension could grow undisturbed. At least the Atlanteans spent that time fighting the abyss and worse, so you know you can count on them in a fight.

Atlanteans guard the ocean depths, building massive kingdoms beside deep trenches, portals to the elemental planes, and other dangerous spots far from the eyes of land-bound folk. Long-established guardians of the deep ocean floor, in recent years the noble Atlanteans have become increasingly active in the world above. (Based on the Atlanteans from marvel and dc)

Atlanteans are godlike being that dwell deep in the vast oceans. Atlanteans are unconcerned with the affairs of folk on the surface world believing themselves superior and that the people above are weaker and feeble minded, always needing to be saved. They will jump at the first sign of world crisis though for they believe it is their duty to keep help because their kingdoms make up most of the world.

Atlanteans are slightly taller than humans, averaging about 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Your base walking speed is 35 feet, and you have a swimming speed of 40 feet.

You can breathe air and water.

Strength of the Depths

You count as two sizes larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. 

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. This vision is doubled when underwater 

Speaker of The Sea

Aquatic beasts have an extraordinary affinity with your people. You can communicate simple ideas with beasts that can breathe water. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return.
