Homebrew Bosmer Species Details

Bosmer or wood elves hail from the province of Valenwood. Rejecting the formalities of the civilized world, the Bosmer discarded lavish living for a life in the wilderness, among the nature, the trees, and animals. In fact their major cities are located in giant walking trees that roam the forests of Valenwood. They decorate their bodies to resemble their forest surroundings. Because of this many view them as barbarians. 

Small And Nimble

The Bosmer allegedly are one of the smallest races of humanoids/ elves. They are born with skin colors that range from light brown to pale tan. They are also able to grow small horns or antlers from their forehead. The wood elves lineage is less noble than the high elves, but they have adapted well to the surrounding world. 

The Green Pact

The Bosmer allegedly made a pact with the deity of the forest. The bosmir are carnivorous and canabalistic due to the green pact. The green pact is never shown, but it is a major part of how the elves choose to operate. Bosmer cannot harm any plants for their own betterment. Bosmer who no longer live in the pact are no longer bound by the rules, but are exiled from the group.

Bosmer Traits

Bosmer get an extra +2 Dexterity due to their time in the woods and +1 wisdom due to their abilities to survive in the forest.

Forest Friend

Due to their forest living Bosmer have gained a sense of animal handling.

Stealth Archers

Due to their carnivorous life style they  have hunted with bows and arrows for their whole life.
