Homebrew Chaonero Species Details

Well known for their art and hunting skills, this race fought in many wars to escape the oppression upon them by an ancient race of sky people. They dominate the ocean and tend not to take kindly to visitors unless already known by their people. A select few live among the others of the world, typically as hunters and artisans. They are intense and tend to not respect those who have not found their way in life. They can be 3 to 4 feet tall fully grown, with blue, red, or green scales. It is common for the oldest in the race to become extremely senile and violent, especially after passing the 140 year mark in age.

Chaonero Traits

They live twice as long as humans, and always have +5 animal handling modifier.

Animal Master

Due to the dominating nature of the Chaonero, many animals fear them, and are frozen for a few moments upon sight. Upon the taming of such an animal, the animal and the tamer bond for life.
