Homebrew Amazonian Species Details

The Amazonians Were originally created when Ares the god of war and a Nymph produced a child. However their general distrust of man means they praise Artemis more then their forefather. The Amazonians are known for three things their Strength, their Beauty, and their Swiftness.  Many men adventure into their home land just to catch a glimpse of their beauty however, more often then not these men never return. it is said that they either died by an Amazon the second he was found, or if he is a worthy warrior enslaved to ensure the next generation is strong enough to protect the tribe. If an Amazon is not impressed with the enslaved of her tribe she will set out on a journey to find the strongest warriors to ensure that her offspring is the strongest of the generation. If the Amazonians give birth to a male they will deliver the male to a nearby race of giants or giantfolk. If it is a female however they are trained from birth to protect the tribe from outsiders. The only time A male Amazon is permitted in the tribe is if an Amazon gives birth to twins one boy and one girl. As their patron goddess is a twin herself they refuse to banish the male. However this does not mean he is treated equal he goes through training the same as his female counter parts but he is treated more like a slave then an amazon. it is common for the males to be bullied from birth until death from their female counterparts. Once the male becomes breeding age he is often molested by a majority of the tribe to ensure that their children are strong.    

Amazonian Traits

Your Amazon character has the following racial traits.

Ability Score Increase

Your Strength and Charisma scores each increase by 2. While your Dexterity is increased by 1 

Age

Amazons reach maturity around age 15 and can live up to 400 years.

Alignment

Amazons tend toward True Neutral  . As guardians of the tribe they will do Anything to keep it safe.

Size

Amazons are  rather tall About the same size as Goliaths averaging about 7ft tall, Your size is Large.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 40 feet, and you have a Climbing speed of 40 feet.

Guardian of the Tribe

As a bonus action you can  Release a Primal War scream that make all attacks made at  female allies within 40 ft. of you made at disadvantage. Once this ability is used it cannot be used again until you take a long rest.

Female Dominance

As an Amazon it is expected to never submit to no man as such the races mindset has made them resistant to the charmed condition, as well as very persuasive when talking to men.
