Homebrew Artiikaan Species Details

Artiikaans are sentient wolflike humaoids that are native to the northern frozen reaches of the world. Artiikaans are unmatched in their skill to conduct arctic warfare. They have advanced sense of smell and auditory perception. It isn’t uncommon for some Artiikaans to get lost in a snowstorm and find their way home only using their nose. Artiikaans are very rare to find anywhere in the world other than frozen snowy locations. They are covered in a thick coat of fur that shields them from the cold of their homeland. Female Artiikaans are distinctively shorter and their fur coats are less bushy and tend to have more dark grey coats than their male counterparts. Where as males tend to be more pale colors. Artiikaan society is based on the belief that the strongest must lead and the pack. Power struggles are a common occurrence in Artiikaan society, though in times of turmoil the fight for chief is put aside. Artiikaans are bipedal, while standing upright the stand on their toes. though, while running they drop down on all fours.
