Homebrew Avani Species Details

Avani are humanoid creatures, with a few exceptions: Fangs, pointy ears, and the bat-like wings sprouting from their backs.

A Forest-Dwelling Race

Avani often live in clans. They weave small domed nests in the treetops, where they sleep. They rely on each other for everything. Some pick berries and shrooms. Others hunt for food. Some stay behind and reinforce the nests. They are very dominant, and seldom trust any other race

Avinan Appearance

From earthy brown to pale porcelain, Avani have many different skin colors. Their hair and eye colors differ, too. Most of their skin tones depend on the clan or where they live. Though Avani are rare, their clans can live anywhere from the tundra to the rainforest. They have pointy ears, which are usually pierced with an animal claw during a coming-of-age ceremony. They have sharp canine teeth and long, slightly-sharp fingernails.

Avani are brave and fierce. They are extremely loyal to the ones they love, and will fight for what they believe in.
