Homebrew Twilight Vampire Species Details

They're impossibly fast, and strong. Their skin is pale white and ice cold. Their eyes change color, and sometimes they speak like – like they're from a different time. They never eat or drink anything. They don't go out in the sunlight.

Twilight Vampire Traits

The vampire has the following traits:

Regeneration

The vampire regains 10 Hit Points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point and isn't on fire. If the vampire takes fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of the vampire's next turn.

Blood Frenzy

The scent of blood sends a vampire into a powerful instinctual feeding frenzy. The vampire has advantage on melee attack rolls but disadvantage on wisdom saving throws against any creature that doesn’t have all its hit points.

Hold Breath

As an undead, you no longer have need for silly things like oxygen. As a result, you can hold your breath indefinitely.

Keen Hearing

You can hear Everything. Even things you really don't want to hear. Like Edward and Bella's painfully vanilla but nonetheless enthusiastic bedroom activities. The vampire has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing.

Running Leap

With a 10ft running start, the vampire can long jump up to 30ft.

Standing Leap

Hang on tight, spider monkey. The vampires jump is up to 10ft and its high jump is up to 10ft, with or without a running start.

Aversion to Fire

The vampire has fire vulnerability. In addition, if the vampire takes fire damage, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of its next turn.

Rejuvenation

Vampires are hard to kill, but not impossible. If it dies, the vampire returns to life in 1d6 days and regains all its hit points. Only burning the dismembered body can prevent this trait from functioning.

Diamond Skin

Turns out cold, sparkly skin is actually pretty good at resisting damage. The vampire has a +2 bonus to armor class.

Eternal Student

Attending high school for 100 years in a row leaves a lot of opportunity to learn foreign languages. The vampire knows all languages it knew in life or has learned since it's death.

Vampire Strength

You pick things up and put things down, and you do a pretty darn good job of it. The vampire has a +2 bonus to strength.

Vampire Reflexes

(S)he's a runner (s)he's a track star. The vampire has a +2 bonus to dexterity.

Tough to Kill

If Edward and Carlisle's many failed suicide attempts have shown us anything, it's that vampires are hard to kill. The vampire has a +5 bonus to constitution.

Natural Weapons

Dracula doesn't need a sword. The vampire can use it's action to make a bite attack or unarmed strike.
