Homebrew Dragon Species Details

Dragons are well known around the world, and more often feared than celebrated. Still, dragons often wat to find a place in the world where they belong, some in crueler ways than others, and because of this, they have learnt to shapeshift into a humanoid form, to avoid detection. Still, most dragons prefer the freedom of their natural dragon form, but their humanoid form allows them to live among other humanids, and live a relatifvely normal life.

Appearance

Dragons come in several different colours, both chromatic as metallic, and each colour has their own physical features. Although they can controll what they look like when in humanoid form, hey tend to keep some of their draconic features, as to represent their pride, hidden as it may be. They usually keep their dragon-like eyes, and have skin and hair colours that match their scales, to a certain extend.

Home sweet

Dragons are found most anywhere in the world, but each colour dragon has a preference in climate. Most dragons have a lair somewhere in the world, in their preferred climate, but this is usually away from civilisation. If living in their lair, dragons often live alone. They sometimes enslave nearby groups of people or creatures, but only if they deem this beneficial.
