Having been imbued with abyssal energy since birth, most abyssal hybrids are chaotic in nature.

Abyssal Hybrids have the same range of height and weight as humans.

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Born with abyssal energy, your vision can easily cut through darkness. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of red.

You have resistance to cold and fire damage.

Whenever you damage a creature, you can choose to sear a demonic brand upon their body. For 1 minute, each time you hit the branded creature with an attack you immediately gain a number of hit points equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down). Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

A Remove Curse cast on the target removes the brand early.

You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill.

As an action, you can call forth your abyssal lineage and transform into a fiendish hybrid, your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. You gain the following benefit while in your hybrid form:

• Once on each of your turns, you can deal extra fire damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra fire damage equals your level. You immediately regain a number of hit points equal to half the amount of fire damage dealt with this trait.

Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

At 5th level, the fire damage caused by this racial trait ignores resistances.
