Homebrew Anchi-Toren Species Details

The Anchi about the height of the average human male, Having skin that resembles stone in color. Most Anchi hair is black but can be dark brown, Their most notable feature is their sealed eyes that are usually hidden by a blindfold and slightly pointed ears similar to a half elf . Most Anchi are well built very few are thin, almost none being overweight. Anchi blood is gold. Most Anchi lean towards freedom and what is morally right.

Being innately blind from birth all Anchi rely on their heighten other sense their primary way being sound, and feeling subtle changes in the temperature or even vibrations in the ground.

When they open the seal on their eyes how they look is a pure glowing light blue shine.

The Anchi make their true home in the foggy valley of the grey peak mountains on a gigantic floating boulder know as the "Ear of Conscious" where most follow a monk way of life. Most aren't religious and instead follow in the path of the warrior monk Aeda, the first Anchi-Toren. Their society live in bare tower-houses called Ellibe upon the "Ear of Conscious". The center, and tallest Ellibe is the Temple of Aeda where the young train to be sword-saint monks known as Kensei.

At a young age most stay and follow the teachings but so do stray out to follow a more nomadic way of life. The ones that do stay seek enlightenment through combat and harnessing ones own energies to achieve super human feats. The training they go through starts with many trials training the senses they do have, strengthen them to super human levels. In the words of Aeda "We do not sight but we see, The world around us has no color, like strokes of a brush we add the color, the sound, the feelings, We do not have eyes but we see all" Its this message the students of Aeda live by.
