Homebrew Axolotl Species Details

You are an amphibious species who can regenerate limbs. You come in a range of different colours. Axolotl folk speak rumors of star-touched folk who have an array of different colours and patterns at once. These rare occurrences are often once every blue moon e.g. If you choose to become a star-touched axolotl, you are born with powers that do change based on your class. These powers are based on the pattern you choose. 

BLUE, FROSTY COLOUR WITH LIGHTER SPOTS:Every long rest, you can choose one object you can touch. You can then cover in frost that deals 1d4 cold when touched.

FIERY RED WITH SHORT ORANGE STRIPES:Every long rest, you can choose one object you can touch. It then grows white hot and can affect it's surroundings. If touched, it deals 1d4 fire damage.

Axolotls are amphibious, smooth skinned creatures.

As a creature adapted to live in water, you can breath underwater and on land. 

Star-touched

If you choose so, you can have magical abilities. What sort depends on your pattern. Or you could mix and match e.g.blue with fire.
