The Children of the Moon Race Details

These were the stories of a restless people who long ago took to the forest and the trade of the hunt. The Forest Mother unhappy with how her home was being treated she cursed those with the beast blood. A mixture of man and beast. A curse bestowed on those of the hunt.

She’d never given much thought to them and left the them to their own vices, but these stories of man and beast traveled far. In these yellowed pages were tales of bold horrors, strange and fierce animals, mighty primitive warriors and hunters, and a magic that was part and fabric of that distant forest.

— Elain Bookbounder, Sage of the beast folk

Being a mixture of both man and beast they disregard the names of monster and such. Taking upon themselves to call themselves Hunters or Children of the Moon.

Appearing human they are quite the opposite, with thicker hair and slightly pointed ears some would assume they were a half-elf. With eyes generally either a brown or yellow there are few that have normal coloured eyes.

Not much is know about them since they can blend in with the normal folk. Other than that they keep to themselves in their forest. there are a few large clans.
