Homebrew Akghasta Species Details

Akghastas have a serpent-like tail and elf ears. They are solitary and sneaky creatures who steal whenever needed. They have scale patches on themselves and they love shiny things. Similar to Yuan-Tis, they are often mistaken for them. They will not hesitate to attack any creature who fights them. They have a snake head.

Bite: Any creature within the range of ten feet who is bitten by an akghasta will deal 2d6 poison damage after every turn they take.

Tail attack: The targeted creature within the range of 15 feet will deal 1d10 bludgeoning damage. The target creature must succeed a constitution saving throw or be prone for 1 turn.

Poison spit: The target creature must succeed a dexterity saving throw or deal 1d8 poison damage each turn. Range: 30 feet.

AC: 14 + strength bonus

Languages: Abyssal, Common, Draconic, any additional languages

HP: 25 plus any additional health bonuses

Akghasta Traits

Akghastas are normally shady creatures and most likely will not be extremely excited to see anything. Creatures trying to make friends with it have disadvantage on the roll.
