Ability Scores: Your Strength increases by +2 and your Constitution increases by +1.

Dark Vision

Mimics’ eyes are accustomed to deep caves and dungeons. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Natural Stealth

You are proficient in the Stealth skill.

Shapechange

You can use your action to polymorph into a medium object, a humanoid, or back into your true, amorphous form. Your statistics are the same in object form and your true form. Any equipment you are wearing or carrying isn't transformed. You revert to your true form if you die.

False Appearance (Object Form Only)

While you remain motionless, you are indistinguishable from an ordinary object.

While you are in your object form attempting to move, wield a weapon, or use an item will immediately give away your nature as a shapeshifter to any creature who witnesses it.

Cumbersome Form

While you are in your true form or an object form you cannot wear armor

Humanoid Form

When you take on a humanoid form you can take advantage of the humanoid’s more agile shape. While you are in a humanoid form your walking speed is increased by 10 feet, to a total of 25 feet

Although you can choose to take on any shape you please for aesthetic reasons you are not inherently humanoid and have great trouble mimicking individual creature’s subtleties. You can pass yourself off as a member of any race but you gain no bonus to skill checks made to pass yourself off as a specific creature.

Pseudopod

You can attack creatures by hitting them with a portion of your mass. You are proficient Pseudopod attacks. Your Pseudopod deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier Bludgeoning damage.

Bite

You can attack creatures by hitting ripping into them with your fierce teeth. You are proficient Bite attacks. Your Bite deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier Piercing damage.

Adhesive (Object Form Only)

When you hit a huge or smaller creature with your Bite or Pseudopod attacks you can attempt to grapple that creature with you bonus action.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Undercommon.

Mimic Quirks (Optional)

As Mimics aren’t naturally social creatures and have a degree of difficulty assimilating into society
