Homebrew Black Steel Bound Dragon Species Details

Black steel dragons were once an artificial dragons used to hunt other dragons and created from alchemy and magic to change a normal dragons into one of these dragon hunting servants.

Though the hunting of dragons is long out of the norm like it used to be and the concept of black steel dragons are long forgotten yet you find yourself awaken without purpose and even more surprising in a human form. it not uncommon for black steel dragons to be able to be bound and limited by humanoid forms for better travel and way to imprison their power when not used for fighting but this concept is still lost to you the awaken black steel dragon that can only rely on there instincts and whoever has woke them. 

Appearance: in your bound form you look to be a human or elf or other race of your choosing besides dragonborn and have dragon horns, tails and eyes and even scales on certain parts of your body like for example on the outsides of your arms and hands, outside of your cheeks and on your nose outsides of your legs and torso. The scales and dragon parts on you appear to be a black metallic material.

Behaviors:

A slaves instincts: As a natural servant unknowingly written into the fabric of your being you find it rather easy to follow other's others orders fulfilled with a sense of purpose as you find a person that seemed to know what's best for you.

Dragon hater: When around any and all dragon kin be it dragon born or any dragon you feel a sense of unnerving and untrusting around them and can even be easily provoke to violent extremes if not kept in check. Disavatage on diplomacy with any dragon kin (optional)

Trusted masters: Around humans and Elves you seem to be at ease and even feel a sense of duty to protect those you might see in your care or a guiding individual you enjoy taking advice(orders) from.

Breath Weapon

You can use your action to exhale deadly magical metal. before using your breath attack you must choose what damage type you are using all three are available to you. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.

Damage Resistance

You have resistance to the damage type you used on your breath attack wether it be piercing bludgeoning or slashing but only after you use your breath attack and until you have a short rest.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic. Draconic is thought to be one of the oldest languages and is often used in the study of magic. The language sounds harsh to most other creatures and includes numerous hard consonants and sibilants.
