You can cast Speak with Animals and Speak with Plants at will, and is always considered active even without actively casting it. Additionally, you have proficiency in animal handling checks and know the cantrip Druidcraft.

You affinity with nature and years under the weather mixed with the magicthat soaks your flesh have made your skin tougher. Your base Armor Class is 13, and your skin, if you wish so, can have a rough texture and be tough to the touch, as if it was made of tree bark. You can change freely from normal skin to complete tree bark, making you almost indistinguishible from your mortal-like appearance.

You recieve 1 point to Constitution and 2 points to Wisdom.

As a creature of the forest itself, you are resistant to it's dangers. You are resistant to poison and gain 60ft of Blindsight.

Ancient Kin rarely show signs of age, and is probably one of the longest lived races, around 800 to 1100 years of age, and you reach maturity at 90 years of age. The process, however, is quite unique, with differences from the origin of the parents. For example, if the child is born from an Ancestral Kin and another race, it will always be born as an Ancestral Kin, except for an elven parent, of which the chance will be of a 15% of a elven child, and this child will live up to 900 years, ageing at the same rate as the other parent's race stopping at maturity.

Eventually, when it reaches it's natural limit of natural lifespan, it will pass away as most races, leaving behind a corpse. However, if the child is born from two Ancestral Kin, it will live to 1.100 years of age, and be born a complete adult at the end of the motehr's natural lifespan with many years of gestation without any signs of pregnancy, of which only the mother is aware.

When the mother passes away, if she is a pure blooded Ancestral Kin, she will turn into a magical, semi-conscient tree. At that time, her child will be born from her bark, coming out fully developed. Eventually, when a pure blooded Ancestral Kin turns into a tree, after a few centuries, the Ancestral Tree wil become an Ent, it's strenght depending on the life teh Ancestral Kin had, and will also retain all of it's memories from of it's lifetime, including the semi-dormant tree state.

You whistle, and the sound echoes through the forest, calling to your presence an animal at the DMs discretion. The sound of your whistling reaches an area at your DMs discretion, and the animal that hears it may choose to or not to answer to your call. It may vary from anything, from a innocent sparrow to a passing dinossaur. The animal is generally neutral torwards the player, but is not necessarily friendly.

Your body is strange, created by ancient and primoridal magics that have altered your kind through the ages. You do not have blood, instead, in your veins runs magical sap, of a greenish, transparent color. This sap is also thick and highly nutritive for other creatures, and, according to those who taste it, it has a thick texture and tastes like lives and fruits, being also quite sweet. Adittionally, you feel more active during the day and slightly sluggish during the night.

As an Ancestral Kin, you are strangely closely related to the elves, and can remember the memories of your ancestors. Different from the pure blood elves, however, yours is more of a inherited legacy. You do not remember everything in detail, but strong memories and people that your ancestors knew will be evident in your own memory.

Because of this, Ancestral Kin rarely forget about places, friends and family, as well promises and debts their ancestors had. The closest the ancestor is, the easier it is to recall their memories. For example, your parent's memories will be easier than your grand-grandfathers. Primeval memories may be accessed, however, in the case some kind of memory magic or induced trance.
