Apex-Predator Traits
The traits of an Apex-PredatorLiquid Predator
You have a swimming speed of 60 feet
Opportunistic Predator
When a creature has provoked an opportunity attack from you, you may choose to use your predator’s jaws ability instead of a melee weapon attack.
Predator’s Jaws
Using an action you may bite a target, on hit the target takes 1d6 + your STR modifier. Additionally you may choose to latch onto a creature, the creature must make a STR saving throw DC 9 + your STR modifier + your proficiency bonus. A target whom you are latched onto is unable to move and must use their action to attempt the saving throw again, (breaking free on a success.) or make an attack roll against you with disadvantage (You unlatch if the roll is a critical hit) Using an action, you may “Thrash” dealing 2d6 piercing damage to the latched on creature. Any attack you make to the latched creature besides Thrash is made with disadvantage.
Placoid-Scales, Shark Skin
Because of your teeth like scales, your AC increases by 2, and any creature who touches your skin with hard force, such as a punch, push, etc. Without a form of protection such as gloves or armor, takes 1d4 piercing damage. This also extends to someone bumping into you on the street and so on.
Robust Predator
Due to your Robust nature, your CON score has increased by 1, and your STR score has increased by 1.
Apex Hunter
If you have tasted the blood of your target, you can tell the general direction they have gone for up to 1 mile, you can tell the difference between your target and other bleeding creatures and you have advantage on skill checks used to track your target. This lasts until the target stops bleeding, once the trail is lost you must taste the blood of your target again to be able to track them again.
In addition you can smell blood in the air up to 30 ft, and have advantage of finding the source.
