Homebrew Bedouan Dragonborn Species Details
World-wide Wanderers
Dragonborn are born alone into the world, left to figure it out for themselves. Dragonborn are accepted almost anywhere, as their nature tends to be good. They tend to adventure or explore the world, doing good and earning coin.
Dragonborn are free to choose their own path in the world, unconstrained by being born into any specific nation, class, or duty. However, they also sometimes struggle to find their place in the world, burdened by the freedom of choice.
Dragonborn tend to value self-sufficiency, as they are born alone and forced to make a name for themselves and understand the world around them mostly by themselves.
Dragon-like Appearance
Dragonborn look very much like dragons standing erect in humanoid form, including wings and a tail. They are tall and strongly built, often standing close to 6½ feet tall and weighing 300 pounds or more. Their hands and feet are strong, talonlike claws with three fingers and a thumb on each hand.
Dragonborn have a variety of different colors and appearances, passed down by their predecessor.

Breath Weapon
You can use your action to exhale draconic energy. Your draconic precession determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic precession. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution (or Charisma) modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 4d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 5d6 at 6th level, 6d6 at 11th level, and 7d6 at 16th level. You can use your breath weapon a number of times equal to your Constitution or Charisma Modifier, regaining all expended uses at the end of a long rest.
Special Breath Weapon
As an action, once per long rest, expend draconic energy through your mouth.
If your predecessor is a metallic dragon, your special breath weapon is magical gas in a 15 ft. cone. The save DC for this breath is 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. when you use this ability, each creature in the area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become incapacitated until the start of your next turn.
If your predecessor is a chromatic dragon, your special breath weapon is a 25 ft. long, 15 ft. wide rectangle. Each creature in the area must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 20 feet away from you and be knocked prone.
Damage Resistance
