Homebrew Asyr Species Details
Which ones, the nomads? These guys are alright. Its their monks you gotta watch, those fists hit harder than a dwarf's hammer, and what they say makes less sense than an elven philosopher. Amazing things they do, and because of that I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of their anger.
—Arik, captain of the Windwake
Asyrs are a strange people with innate psionic powers, who spend much time contemplating the powers of the universe and their places in it.
Masters of Discipline
The seven realms offer a wide variety of peoples, and the Asyr are some of the more mysterious. Being born with the power to float or crush objects with their minds, they've learned to be cautious, undertaking years of meditation and training. The common asyr takes their youthful years learning to control the most basics, but many don't feel called to serve the temples like many of them. To take up adventure is to seek the answers in the greater world, as part of many young asyr's journeys.
