Homebrew Aerialite Species Details
Aerialites originated from the idea behind warforged, but with a base more on magical adaptations and influences. Aeriaites use magic projections to simulate the limbs of humans and other races and species.
Aerialite Traits
Malleable Appendages are a specialty of aerialitesAbility Score Increase
Your Intelligence score increases by 2, Wisdom score by 1, and your Strength score decreases by 3.
Age
Unless you are destroyed, or your magic stops flowing, as an Aerialite you have the potential to be completely undying.
Alignment
In that sense that you are more or less a magic robot, You will always have some neutral tendencies. There is the chance that as an Aerialite someone "hacks you" by disrupting your mana stream and more or less repogramming you to be more than neutral, but sentience in that fashion is not immediately provided to you.
Size
While most Aerialites are based off of humanoid physique, and usually end up being about the same size, Aerialites can really be whatever their original creator makes them. This also means that their sizes can vary drastically, though most prefer the humanoid shape the best. Some Aerialites, through the process of body modification, can become bigger or smaller when it is absolutely needed.
Malleable Limbs
Using the magical energy they have within them, Aerialites make physical constructs that look like the limbs of whatever race they are based off of. This usually results in Humanoid arms with magical properties that can be treated like real actual limbs.
Speed
Since Aerialites are not built with legs, hey all have the ability to hover, which makes transversal of places quite easy for them. Unless it involves digging or diving, an Aerialite can go pretty much anywhere, even up. Granted that going up is a lot slower then going the other directions, if an Aerialite is built with the specifics for certain terrain types, they may be able to transverse those areas as well; it's best to check this with your Dungeon Master first however.
Languages
All Aerialites are programmed with Common. Most Aerialites will also be programmed with a multitude of other languages specified by their original creators. However, if someone were to perform a "hack" on Aerialite, they can teach it a language it does not already know that the perpetrator of the "hack" does know.
