Homebrew Armis Species Details

The Armis live in the Oaklin Lantern and resemble armadillos. Born with a heavy layer of armor, making their skin tough. There is a heavy prejudice against the Armis due to the Siege of the False Prophets, leading to heavy discrimination. Armis often live in hiding, afraid to be killed by other Oaklin residents. Armis are capable of injecting Formillion into themselves, which enhances their defense, hardening their skin. Armis have claws for digging as well, and their large snouts make for enhanced smelling. They appreciate a good alcoholic beverage (Especially Spawnic), and many of the foods in Oaklin. An Armis typically stands 4.6-5.6 feet tall and weighs from 250-350 pounds. Their noses vary in length as well as hair color and plate color. Plates can be painted and colored with patterns and other such things. Some sport facial hair that is sparse or thick. Armis live to about 150 and reach adulthood around 37 years old. Are typically from Oaklin.

Armis reach adulthood around the age of 37 years old and live to about 150 years old.

Alignment

Armis tend to be true neutral in nature but depending on their backstory and heritage will sway their opinion on things. They do not like most undergroundlings, and most undergroundlings don't like them. Formica are typically their only friends in Oaklin.

Size

Standing at around 4-5ft tall, and halved when in a ball. Your size is medium heavy.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30ft, and tunneling speed is 10ft

Ball Up

You cannot move on your own, you can be pushed and rolled. You take half damage from melee weapons, and projectiles have a chance to ricochet. It takes an action to ball up.

Digging Claws

You can dig underground efficiently, cannot dig stone, metal, and other such stuff. You move 10ft per turn when tunneling.

Formillion Compatible

If you are able to obtain a Formillion Injector and an Oaklin doctor who is willing to help you, you can inject Formillion into yourself. You gain an AC bonus of 5, you become more metallic-looking. Balled up you cannot be damaged by mele, and now you weigh around 500 pounds.

Armis can speak Oakin and Common but struggles with Common though.
