Homebrew Cardial Servant Species Details
Cardial Servants were once a sort of celestial/elemental hybrid, a summoned semi-physical form of the caster's heart, or in more words, a magnification of the caster's strongest and most intense emotions. In whatever way, however, the servant can become severed from their creator, leaving both parties less than they were before. It is up to the Cardial Servant to craft a new life, be that studying alongside their creator, or forging ahead and beyond into a life that is completely their own.
Cardial Servant Traits

Age
Cardial Servants are made of arcane, celestial, and elemental energies. Their true age is unknown, although once separated from their creator, they do seem to age at least somewhat.
Alignment
Cardial Servants often start out sharing the same ideals as their creator, but once severed, they're free to explore and create their own opinions.
Size
Severed from your creator, the arcane energies strengthening you have somewhat shrunk. Your size is Medium.
Speed
As a being of energy, you have innate quickness. Your base walking speed is 35 ft.
Fervent Emotions
Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the raw emotional energies that have always fueled you, causing the surrounding area to be lit with pure arcane energy. Your transformation lasts for up to 1 minute, or until you end it as a bonus action. Choose one emotion and its paired damage type when first activating: rage (fire), sadness (cold), compassion (radiant), or fear (necrotic). While active, you unleash a brilliant burst of emotional energy, sending out a bright light in a 10 ft. radius around you. Any creature in this radius at the end of your turn takes the chosen damage equal to half your level (rounded up). The bright light passes through magical darkness, but only in its radius. Once you use this trait, you cannot use it again until you take a long rest.
At Higher Levels. Once you reach Level 14, your connection to your innate abilities has been retrained to the point that you are once again able to fly. You gain a flying speed of 30 ft.
Listen to Your Heart
You were created to magnify emotions. You have advantage on Persuasion rolls.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Emotional Nature
You were created from the combination of celestial, elemental, and arcane magicks. Your creature type is humanoid, and either celestial or elemental.
Languages
You can speak Common, Celestial, Primordial, and one other language of your choice (presumably something your creator also knew).
