Homebrew Angelflames Species Details

This race can come about in many different ways. Wether it be from a celestial and a demon in love, a celestial falling from grace whilst pregnant, a demon risen whilst pregnant, or some other way, this race, known commonly as The Great Contradiction, commands either a great respect, or a great fear in the hearts of those around. Near impossible to distinguish a Loveborn from a Fearborn until seeing their wings, people are constantly wary of them.

Angelflames Traits

+2 charisma, +1 wisdom (Loveborn)/intelligence (fearborn) -1 dexterity (Loveborn)/constitution (Fearborn), Impossible Power, superior darkvision, vulnerable to necrotic (Loveborn) or radiant (Fearborn) damage

Impossible power

Starting at level 4, you can, once per long rest, fill your being with a strange mystical power, which gives you wings that have differing effects based on subrace, and raises your two saving throw proficiency stats from your class by two. These effects last for three hours.

loveborn: you gain a flying speed of 50 feet

Fearborn: your Unarmed strike turns into a melee attack that deals 1d10 damage plus your strength modifier

Due to being raised in a different plane of existence, you can tell easier when a specific god is mentioned or when an item is embodied by a strange power
