Homebrew Auredhel Species Details
Auredhel bear within their souls the light of the heavens. They are descended from elves, or else the souls of elves with a touch of the power of either Divine Gods, or Celestial entities. Auredhel are born to serve as champions of the gods, and exist within their realms for almost the entirety of their existence.
An Auredhel, only ever visits the Material Plane once, often on pilgrimage or some great task assigned to them by the deity from the realm they have been created. Once on the material plane, all memories from before are stripped from them; Save their name and whatever divine task they have been assigned.
During the course of their time in the Material world, they regain their memories and divine connection, signified by their wings growing fuller. Once their task is completed, they are called back to their homes and take their place alongside the Angelic beings which serve the gods.

Age
Auredhel mature at the same rate as Elves, but they can live up to 1000 years
Alignment
Imbued with celestial power, most Auredhel are good, embodying the greatest virtues of those mortals who bore them.
Size
Size. Auredhel have the same range of height and weight as elves. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
Blessed with a radiant soul, your vision can easily cut through darkness. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Trance
Auredhel, like their Elven parents don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and Celestial. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Many bards learn their language so they can add Elvish ballads to their repertoires.
Celestial Resistance
You have resistance to necrotic damage and immunity to radiant damage.
Beacon of the Divine
Once per long rest; A great light emanates from the Auredhel; illuminating darkness up to 20 ft; As well as dispelling unholy effects within the area of the light.
Angel Wings
The Auredhel bear wings similar to those of angels, however these wings are incapable of sustained flight until the Auredhel has grown in strength and knowledge.
Lvl 1-4 You do not yet possess your name sake wings
Lvl-5-9 Your wings have begun to grow, however you are incapable of true flight- They do however allow you to act as if Feather Fall has been cast upon you.
Lvl 10+ Your wings have grown larger and fuller, granting you a flight speed of half your base movement.
