Homebrew Decidueye Species Details

The Decidueye race is genetically related to the Aarakocra. Contrary to their owl-like appearance, their wings do not grant them the ability to fly, similar to the chicken or ostrich, although they are capable of creating drag. In compensation for losing their ability to fly, they are experts at using their sharp claws for climbing. This combined with their sharp eyes makes them excellent scouts in forests and mountains alike, which is where they mainly exist. They are conservative people and kind to nature. they do not take lightly to the modernization and destruction of their environment. They make for great Druids and Clerics, due to their kind and loving heart, and great rangers and rogues, due to their agileness.
