Homebrew Witch Species Details
Witch traits:
Age: Nobody knows how old witches can get excactly but some can get older then 1000 years. They are adults when they are 300. After that their body stops aging.
Alignment: Many witches belong to a clan but most value freedom and closenes with nature. They also tend towards chaotic alignments.
Size: Witches have a slim physique and stand a bit taller then most humans at around 6 feet.
Speed: Your walking speed is 30 feet.
Limited flight: Your cloud pine ables you to take to the sky briefly. Your flying speed is 30 feet but it works in short burst. If you end your turn in the sky you wil fall.
Witch magic: You can cast Invisibility, Getle Repose, and lesser restoration with this trait. If you cast any of this spells you can't cast it again with this trait until your next short or long rest.
Darkvision: You can see 60 feet in dimlight as if it's bright light and in darkness as if it's dimlight. You can only see shades of grey in darkness.
Untouched body: You don't suffer any adverse effects from cold temperatures.
Wayfinder: You always know the direction to any place you've been before as long as you know your current location.
Languases: You can speak, write, and read commen and one other languase of your choice.
Additional feats
If the dungeon master allows the use of feats as described in chapter 6 of the player handbook a witch gets acces to the following special feats.
Swift
You have improved your abtitude with your cloud pine. This gives you the following benefits:
- You no longer fall to the ground if you end your turn in the air.
- You can use Witch magic to cast blur.
Skirmisher
You are skilled at strinking enemies quickly and retreating befor they can do any harm. You can cast Zephyr strike a number of times equel to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1). You regain the expended uses after a long rest.
Variant: Deamon
A Deamon is a physical many
Deamon: You gain the companionship of a deamon, wich takes the form of a beast of CR 1/8 or lower. The deamon has the Strength, Dexterity, and Contitution of it's chosen form. But is has your Charisma, Intelligence and Wisdom and it's creature type is celestial. It can speak and understand the languases that you can and you can comunicate with it telepathically. Your deamon is completely under your control and acts immediatly after your turn in combat. It shares your hit points and is vulnerable to all damage. If your deamon is more than 60 feet away from you, you take 4d6 force damage at the start of your turn. This damage cannot be reduces in any way.
Separation rite: You don't take any damage if your deamon is more than 60 feet away from you. But it's chosen form must have a flying speed of 30 or more.
Witch Traits
Even though they look quite human they have magic because of there race.Ability score improvement
You get a +1 on dexterity and a +2 on your wisdom.
