Homebrew Chiropterae Species Details
Residing in massive cave systems underground, Chiropterae, often known as Batfolk, are a very community-driven species. They work together to build settlements inside tunnels, and hunt and gather for each other. It takes a lot for a Chiropterae to leave its cave.
Fang and Fur
Looking from afar, Chiropterae appear simply like bats. But on closer inspection, you’ll find claws that work almost like human hands. Their arms have flaps of leathery flesh that work like wings. On their heads rest massive ears used for echolocation. Depending on the species, Chiropterae can have sharp, flesh-eating fangs or dull, fruit-biting teeth.
Their bodies are covered with fur. Not only giving them a cute factor, but also helps to protect against the wet and cold of a cave. However, the common tribe wears clothes, so you won’t see their fur much.
I’ll finish this when I feel like it, kinda tired rn 🥱
