Homebrew Arachnoid Species Details
Arachnoids are often little more than savage animals, keeping to themselves and thinking only about their own needs. They feed by spitting acid onto their prey, reducing a human-sized creature to pudding in seconds, which it then sucks up with a specialized tongue. A closer look at an archnoid’s braids reveals them to be tendrils. Besides having 4 arms, arachnoids also have 4 legs. The second set are nearly vestigial and visible only to those aware of them. Located behind the primary legs near the spinnerets, their only use is to cut and manipulate web. Their feet are prehensile and able to manipulate objects nearly as well as hands. This and their multiple arms allow them to climb with ease.
