Homebrew Dragome Species Details

Dragomes are half dragons, half gnomes. Dragomes posses both traits from both races, and are very similar in appearance. Dragomes typically look like shorter Dragonborns with more pale skin and/or scales. Most dragomes don’t reach past three to four feet, but posses every other physical feature from dragonborns and gnomes.

Most Dragomes follow the ideals, senses, and goals of there parents, meaning most dragomes are considered any type of good, or neutral alignment. Depending on who they follow religiously they can also become evil in there beliefs and manifestations.

Physical Features from Dragon-born’s:

  • All dragomes have anywhere from short to long tails.
  • All dragomes have vast accumulations of scales, with some bare spots like the under belly, palms, and face
  • Most dragomes retain the full color from there Dragon-born parent, but some dragomes colors can become pale or faded from there gnome parent.
  • Typically, dragomes have horns and claws depending on there Dragon-born parents physical traits.

Features from Gnomes:

  • Most Dragomes are on the shorter side, barley reaching 3-4 feet, with the exception of a few.
  • Most Dragomes are more sensitive to sunlight then most regular Dragon-borns and have bigger eyes.
  • All Dragomes bare dull teeth.
  • All Dragomes limbs are typically shorter than normal Dragon-borns.

Dragome Traits

Gnomes and dragon’s/Dragon-born’s

Breath weapon

You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 2d6 at 3rd level, 3d6 at 5th level, 4d6 at 8th level, 5d6 at 11th level, and 6d6 at 14th level.

Dragome ancestry

Due to your parent’s ancestry, you gain +2 strength, +1 intelligence, and +1 charisma added to your ability scores

Gnome cunning

You have advantage on all intelligence, wisdom, and charisma saving throws against magic.

Dark vision
