Homebrew Bjorken Species Details
Like the Tabaxi, the Bjorken are a group of animal humanoids. They have the appearance and features of dogs from the Spitz breed and can be playful or aggressive, depending on the situation. They can go from a bipedal form to a quadrupedal form on the go, however the form limits their abilities. They have the life-span of a human and their thick fur makes them appear 7-feet tall, however they grow only to about 6-feet. The Bjorken and the Tabaxi have a complicated relationship, originally being united as one, they fell into a war that left Bjorken numbers strained. Now, only very few exist in tiny communities. Their speed and strength makes for an ideal Fighter or Barbarian, however they are also very charismatic and make for surprisingly good musicians.
Bjorken Traits

Doe to having the eyes of a dog, they are given 60ft of Darkvision, However these eyes also allow only shades of gray, yellow, and blue to be percepted.
Ability Score Increase/Decrease
Your Strength, Constitution and Charisma scores increase by 2, and your Dexterity, Wisdom and Intelligence scores decrease by 1
Stance Change
Spend one bonus action to shift your joints, standing on two feet to four feet and vice versa.
Bipedal Stance
Your walking speed is 25, You can use martial, ranged and heavy weapons. rolling a 1 on a d20 roll causes you to fall and change to Quadrupedal Stance.
Quadrupedal Stance
You run on four legs with a walking speed of 35. You can only use Simple, non-Ranged weapons that don't have the heavy tag. Weapon attacks use Dexterity modifier.
Fierce Bite
You can attack the enemy with a ferocious bite that deals 1d8(Bipedal Stance)/1d10(Quadrupedal Stance)+Strength modifier
Thick Coat
They have a resistance to cold temperatures and gain the advantage on an action. They are weak to heat and gain 1 exhaustion point per hour in hot climates.
Age
They have the lifespan of a human, however some can survive to 120 years of age.
Size
They grow to about 6ft tall however they appear 7ft due to their fur. They have a weight of 160lbs.
Languages
You can speak common, as well as being able to communicate with beasts.
