 Political Correctness

Multiple Bag People are called "Bag People" but if referred to a single individual it is called a "Bag Person"

The Creation of Bag People

A bag person gets created by the use of an Artifact called "Baggers Bag People Bag". On the first look, it just looks like a hempen back with a simple face drawn on it but used correctly it can transfer the soul of a humanoid into a small bag of seeds that will grow within a few hours to a fully grown Bag Person with all the memories of its former body. The now soulless former body of the Bag Person will not decompose and shows a strange resistance to necromancy magic. But once the Bag Person dies, his old body loses these properties and starts to rot. There must be a connection between the Bag Person and his old body that is not fully understood but surely intended by the creator of the Bag People Bag. He is called The Bagger and has accumulated a small but enthusiastic group of followers. The Bagger and his followers seem to collect the bodies of his victims but no one knows what he uses them for.

The Anatomy of Bag People

Bag People are the same person that they were before their transfer. They have the same voice the same character and the same memories. Just their physic changed. They are generally 2-4 ft. tall and weigh around 5-10 lbs. They have smaller Extremetys proportionally to their Torso in comparison to a humanoid. They need to eat, drink, breathe & sleep like a humanoid. Food and water, as well as air, gets absorbed inside their Body. They are extremely resistant against blunt forces due to their shock-absorbing properties like a punching bag. If their skin (The Bag) gets cut open they start losing their innards which equals bleeding. With enough time or the help of some healing, they quickly regain their lost innards.

Lifespan

Bag People reach their psychic adulthood based on their former race. Their physical adulthood is reached after 1 to 12 hours after their creation. during this process, they aren't conscious. After 50-70 years Bag People begin to visibly age and finally stop regenerating after around 10 more years until they die of stacking damages to the body.

The Condition

There is no known way to cure the condition of a Bag Person. it is suspected that the original Body or at least a Body similar to the original is required to transfer back the Bag Persons Soul. Also, no Disease or Curse Curing Actions showed any effect. it is suspected that only Baggers Bag People Bag is able to undo the Bag People Condition or at least it maybe would help to develop a way to cure the condition. Every follower of the Bagger also has a Bag People Bag to create a Bag Person, but their bags don't show any property that would allow undoing the transfer so Baggers Bag People Bag is the most promising clue to follow. But the research on the Bag People condition isn't a very popular topic for scientists because of the social standing of the Bag People, so the hope of the Bag people to cure their conditions is almost non-existing.

Social Standing

Bag People are generally derided by other people. They are often mocked and bullied for their appearance and often not taken seriously. Also since they are one of the smallest minorities there are extreme rarely communities build by Bag People. The biggest cities often don't have more than one or two bag persons living in their underground. they often use their exceptional ability to camouflage themself as regular Sacks to hide in barns and or to steal goods out of storage rooms to make some copper. Some Bag People get help from people in small villages but in bigger cities, they aren't considered People and don't obtain the right to own property. As a result of this, bag people often end up homeless. Bag People are often seen as impish troublemakers because of their tendency to steal and hide at places where they shouldn't be. This also plays a role in the fact that they are mostly loners. Bag Persons in general but especially multiple Bag People in a group are often targets of guards or thugs because they are considered as troublemakers, so Bag Persons tend to stay alone since to be in a group rises the chance to get beaten up or straight up killed by the locals. Also, doctors aren't educated to treat bag people and often refuse to do so, which results in Bag People often dying from otherwise treatable diseases and wounds received by the fact, that they have to live in sewers or dirty alleys to not get assaulted on open streets. Some Bag People started to use their appearance to work in circuses or as a jester in shady taverns effectively trading their self-esteem for a little bit of copper and a place to sleep. Bag People are often sorrowful and hopeless and would do everything for some love of a friend or just to have a nice chat with a stranger. If a Bag Person finds a Group of other humanoids that accepts it they are often tolerated by others as a part of that group, even if the Bag Person and his group have to accept that they will repeatedly encounter incomprehension.
