Homebrew Ayryxian Species Details

Culture

Ayryxians are known for their strong magic, strong farming skills, and strong community efforts. Not much bad can be said about Ayryxians, to be quite honest. Except for the few Ayryxians who let this all go to their head after they made contact with humans. Their culture is very based around a now dead religion. Although it is considered to be mythology at this point, it is generally accepted as lessons that should still be heeded. 
Ayryx was an old planet that after a long war was divided in half. The Kingdom and the Shrines. The monks minded their own business and worshipped their Gods. Now the Gods are seldom worshipped. If anything...it's a last resort. 

Appearance

Ayryxians do come in all shapes and sizes, but they are generally tall. 6'7" - 7'0" is an average height. You'd rarely see an Ayryxian under 6'0".
They have very particular noses. They can be wide or slender, but they are always upwards. People compare them to pigs. Calling them pigs is a slur. Don't do that. 
Their ears are very elf-like. They do come in different variations, but are generally large. They can be pointed up, to the side, and rarely down. *Important: Their ears are extremely sensitive. It is an erogenous zone. Please approach with caution and fear any of them who have piercings*
Their skin ranges from sheet white to dark greys. They grey with age. Generally their hair is black and rusts with age, turning anywhere from a brownish to a ruddy red. Some rare Ayryxians do have white hair and they were often rumored to have greater magic abilities. (Not confirmed) 
Their eyes are grey. Almost always...Grey. Any other color is gorgeous to them. It is a gift from the Gods (well it was when they believed in them.) Some Ayryxians have a third eye on their forehead. 
Most Ayryxians have trouble growing any body hair outside of their head, eyebrows, and...uh, downstairs. Hairy Ayryxians are generally considered to be very attractive, but this is because they are often compared to the past kings of Ayryx.

Age

Although Ayryxians reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the Ayryxian understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An Ayryxian can live up to over 1,000. However, that is a rarity and most live to around 700-800 years.

Size

Ayryxians range from under 6'0" to over 7 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Darkvision

Ayryx had longer nights than most planets. People often worked late into them farming or training. Ayryxians are accustomed to the dark, and tend to be more at ease when it is night. (This is mostly because they are very pale, and the sun on Earth is a scorcher compared to theirs)

Big Ears

You have a bonus in the Perception skill.

You can speak, read, and write Common and Ayryxian (usually).
