"Creatures with a beautiful aesthetic appeal. Their own existence is artificial, but their personalities are a complete mystery. Regardless, association with the Beastkin often leaves one with a feeling of comfort and ease as if in the presence of beloved childhood toy. They are often kind, fearless, and carry a certain devotion to people they respect. Earning their respect, however, can be a real challenge. You never can tell if you have it or if they are simply allowing you to believe so.
Pay close attention, however, for the foxes and otters reflect a depth, in their eyes, of intelligence. I feel it would be wise for the common people to respect these creatures. When their revolution comes, it will be good to have them on your side."

Age
Beastkin were created as a servile race, and their creators did not give them long lifespans. Most only live 30- 40 years, but they mature quickly and maintain their vitality for the majority of their lifespans. At 12, they can be considered adults, and they only suffer the effects of aging in the last year or two of their lives.
Size
Beastkin are usually near human size. Various subraces may range from 4 feet to 7 feet in height. You are a medium creature.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
