Homebrew Ava Species Details

The Ava are an exotic race of partially feathered humanoids with clawed bird legs. Their culture prioritises freedom and expression, and commonly found among them are masterful artists, archers, and seafarers. They are agile, light bodied, and beautiful.

Ava Traits

Your Ava character has a few distinct abilities, a result of their unique biology and their youth on La Isla Avana.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity score increases by 2. In addition, your choice of Wisdom or Charisma increases by 1.

Light Body

Use your Dexterity rather than Strength for the purposes of determining your jump distance. When extending the length of that jump, make an acrobatics check rather than athletics.

Fury of the Winds

When attacking, if you are at least 5 feet above your target, add +2 to the attack roll.
