Homebrew Actaeon Species Details
These people are protectors of woodland creatures. A mature Actaeon can stand from 5 and a half feet up to 9 feet tall, with the arms, torso, and facial features of a human but the antlers and lower legs of an elk; its whole body is covered in a furry elklike hide. It can camouflage itself perfectly, as if invisible, in light or dense woods. When angered by the wanton slaying of woodland creatures, or similar vile acts, the Actaeon springs out of hiding, usually with surprise. They often use large wood and bone spears to punish or slay the defilers of the woods. Actaeons are members of the woodland community along with centaurs, dryads, etc. They are sufficiently bold and rare that they become renowned heroes of these forest folk. Actaeon sometimes work with druids to preserve the safety of the woods, especially if a dangerous threat is involved.

Posted Oct 4, 2021Apologies for all the updating and changing versions and the difficulties it caused for any of you. First time making and publishing a homebrew, didn't know the issues that would come from trying to go back and fix what was wrong with an already published homebrew. I'm sure I'm done this time.
