Homebrew Yichian Species Details

Age. Yichians reach maturity at the age of 20 and live to be about 150 years old.

Alignment. The majority of yichians lean towards good tendencies.

Physical Appearance

Standing upright, a yichian might reach 5 feet tall, and they have long, narrow legs that taper to paws. Small feathers cover their arms and fur covers the rest of their body. Males' fur colours are dimly coloured, with feathers of brown, black or grey. Females have more bright colours, usually orange or pink. Their heads look quite similar to a cat except for their 3 eyes.

Common Personality Traits

The resemblance of yichian to cats and birds isn’t limited to physical features. Yichians display many of the same mannerisms as ordinary cats and birds. They are fastidious about their plumage, frequently tending themself. They enjoy being near pools where they can catch fish and bathe themselves. Yichian's tend to get passionate about projects that involve improving their flight and they will overwork themselves until they complete the project.

Yichian Names

Yichian names are usually pretty simple in comparison to others. Typically, a name has two syllables and one syllable will usually contain a 'y'. When interacting with other races, yichians will use the nicknames they have received from others as their family name.

A yichian of either gender may have one of these short names: Yonko, Lakyo, Tobor, Mothyi, Koley, Yuyu, Ayth, Badh, Nanak, Bayuth, Chudyu, Jaenyo, Valmo, Yonyu.
