Homebrew Basaunt Species Details
Basaunts are a small and short tempered race, seemingly blowing over the small things such as simple border crossing during travel to stealing a captured meal. They tend to create their colonies underground, finding naturally occurring caves and burrowing extension to form a mid sized village. Not much is known of this race despite the fact that they grow to roughly 4 feet in height and range from colors to white, brown, grey and black.

Due to their ferocious nature, Basaunt tend to not know their own strength. Fighting with all their might when in combat, their jaws are by far one of the deadliest weapons in a Basaunt's inventory. You are proficiency with your Bite attack, dealing 1d4 + your Strength modifier. Starting at level 6 your bite becomes 1d6 + your Strength modifier.

You can use this attack once per round as an Action. Starting at 3rd level you can swipe with the other hand, as a Bonus Action, as long as you connect with the first.
Blind Rage
Once your temper is raging you can not discern friend from foe. With a fierce and blinding fast force you begin attacking anything close. You gain advantage on your attack rolls and add your proficiency modifier to your damage rolls, until the rage subsides. However, anyone attacking you has advantage while it's active.

Posted Jan 3, 2022Race Details I think you meant "..seemingly blowing -up- over the small things.."
Size Make sure you give the size of the race the actual category of tiny, small, medium, etc. Most races view 4-5 feet tall as being medium size while the 3-4 is a small size. Therefore having 3-5 as the range is vague.
Bite Be sure to include what actions are needed to make a bite attack and the type of damage it does.
Claws Like the Bite beforehand it is best to state the type of damage and amount of damage. For example the Tabaxi have: ..your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.. I like the level advancement your Claws has, being able to attack twice if the first connects.
Blind Rage Anything that has to do with combat or specifically as a limit per day has to be stated with that information. Is Blind Rage activated by a bonus action similar to Barbarian's rage? Is there a limit to one activation per short rest? How does this rage subside? After a duration? If you do not attack anyone on your turn? You also state that while in this rage one cannot discern friend from foe but the following affects does not random chance your target or add anything that would textually force you to not discern.
Hope you found this helpful.
